About the BHWOODEX Portal



BHWOODEX is a specialised Internet portal created to cater to the professionals of the wood processing industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to a wide range of other users interested in this industrial segment.

Its main goals are:
  • To provide an integral presentation of the wood processing industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a comprehensive overview of news from the market.
  • To offer a regularly updated overview of the business offer of local firms that could be of interest in the international market.
  • To give an overview of potential customer demand for the products of the local wood processing industry.
  • The increase the productivity, competitive value and export of the final products of local wood processing businesses, through providing quality service to all portal users.
  • To better the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina by promoting its information technologies, modern business norms, sustainable development and environmental protection.

BHWOODEX is a project that was created, initiated, implemented and entirely self-financed by the StrikConsulting d.o.o. (Limited) Company of Sarajevo.

In light of the fact the portal aims to improve the overall position of the BiH wood processing industry, its initial phase was also financially supported by the USAID Cluster Competitiveness Activity, GTZ and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The portal has been conceived as a long-term commercial project, which would be economically sustainable and financed from membership and advertising fees.

The aim of BHWOODEX is to be used by wood processing companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as by local agents, traders, consultants, designers, local and foreign investors and all other individuals and companies associated with the wood industry.  
 
BHWOODEX offers:
